Smriti

Smriti was smitten by the artistic bug in her childhood itself. She learnt the basics of sewing (buttoning, hemming her school uniform), embroidery, cross stitch from her mother. Besides teaching pre-school children, she was also experimenting with different painting styles. What started as a hobby soon turned into a full time addiction. Her first exposure to paper craft (quilling, handmade paper gifts) about five years ago was just magical and there has been no stopping since then. She’s on a constant lookout for learning something new with paper and that also explains why she is a shopaholic - her house is full of paper, punches and paints. White walls, nature and travels have also played an instrumental role in inspiring her. In her free time, she enjoys reading, photography and needlework.

Shamoni

Ever since she figured how to doodle and differentiate colors Shamoni was hooked onto art. She went through training in drawing, sketching and painting techniques in school and dreamt about creating unique artwork. Although she went ahead to pursue her education in Science and worked in the field of Marketing her first love remained ‘Art’. All through the years she made handmade cards, wall art, gifts and keepsakes and kept her imaginative flare going strong. It wasn't until recent rounds of self-actualization that she decided to focus on her passion for creativity and make her dream a reality! Shamoni finds her comfort with colors, strokes and creative expressions and loves to keep learning new art forms. She is recently experimenting with Canvas, Warli, Book Art, Photo books, Handmade Cards, Polymer Clay and DIY craft. Apart from her passion for art, she enjoys paper craft, reading (all forms of text from reference and biographies to fiction), writing (from blogs to daily diaries and stories), listening to music and works on her art of observation!
